Sterling Silver Oval Head Signet Ring. This lovely signet ring is solid sterling silver, a lovely sturdy ring. Handmade in our workshop. The head measures 13mm x 11mm, the head is 3mm thick, giving it a nice height to head and shoulders of the ring. The inside of the ring is fully hallmarked. Up to 4 initials Hand Engraved on the front of the ring - Free of Charge, you can choose to have the initials engraved entwined for script style or separate. Times Bold and Times can not be entwined. We traditionally hand engrave all of our items of jewellery. This is created by Peter deeply cutting out the silver by hand with small hand held gravers (chisel like tools) giving you a beautiful three-dimensional effect engraving that will never fade and will last forever.

Nowadays there are less skilled hand engravers around and machines are now being used which do not give the quality and durability that Hand Engraving gives, every process of hand engraving is done by hand and it is all down to the skill of the engraver Peter, it gives the article a very artistic look.
