The textured background provides contrast to the design, making it stand out. With its deep cuts, this engraving will last forever. We traditionally hand engrave all of our items of jewellery. This is created by Peter deeply cutting out the silver by hand with small hand held gravers (chisel like tools) giving you a beautiful three-dimensional effect engraving that will never fade and will last forever.

Nowadays there are less skilled hand engravers around and machines are now being used which do not give the quality and durability that Hand Engraving gives, every process of hand engraving is done by hand and it is all down to the skill of the engraver Peter, it gives the article a very artistic look.
