Hand Engraving Cufflinks is a beautiful craft.  No computers are involved, the entire process is created using traditional hand skills. By drawing the initials completely by hand on to the cufflink ensures that the shape of the cufflink is taken into consideration.  This way the initials complement the shape and style of lettering, using experience and an artistic eye. The cufflinks are then engraved, by deeply cutting out every part of the silver or gold.  Slowly and steadily the initials come to life.  With deep and shallow curves and cuts, thick and thin lines, the three dimensional letters are created....

How we Hand Engrave Sterling Silver Cufflinks The process of hand engraving silver cufflinks starts off the same each time by Peter sketching the initials, we don't use a stencil nor a computer. All initials are hand sketched onto the cufflink so that they suit the size and shape of the cufflink.  By hand drawing the initials it enables Peter to entwine and layout the initials so that they really flow together, dropping lines, swirling the letters and curves.  Sometimes they will be sketched several times so that the curls and flow are perfect.     A computer program does...
